At five years old, Jake is energetic enough, but is past the puppy crazy stage. He is good with other dogs, but cats, are not a good fit for Jake. He loves ladies, but was not treated kindly by a man, so is afraid of men. He is bright, cheerful and has a little touch of mischief. Jake will make someone a great sidekick.
